A very nice survey of the best of this Pulitzer Prize-winning LA Times Editorial Cartoonist's creations. Inscribed to former owner on short title page and signed by Conrad below his name on that page. Just a bit of creasing at top of spine of DJ with an inside non staining tape mend to flatten the crease. Flap crease of rear DJ flap has some surface flaking that is almost unnoticeable and quite minor. Laid in is a flyer from Vroman's Book Store announcing their 1st "Afternoon with the Author's" event for Thursday, November 1, (1979) at the Huntington Sheraton Hotel with authors Lawrence Welk, Cleveland Amory, Howard Fast, Paul Conrad, Lawrence Clark Powell and Marion Cunningham--and presumably where the former owner had this copy signed.
