The boards are covered in black cloth and have silver lettering on the spine. Laid are are two promotional items, a photo of the author and a large post card sized advertisement for the book with a poem on one side and information about the book on the other. The dust jacket has been protected by a clear removable cover and is without damage. the book is clean and without marks, except the name of it's previous owner, poet William Heyen, neatly written, dated on the front paste down but covered by the front flap when the book is open.
