Glen R. Johnson began training dogs in England with the British Alsatian Association in 1960, studied sentry and police-dog work with the RAF and British police, and in Canada founded the Windsor All Breed Training and Tracking Club and directed a celebrated German Shepherd demonstration team. His own dog Avenger was the first to hold both the Canadian UDTX and American UDT together with Schutzhund III and FH degrees.
