He reveals to the Watcher that he is an alien spy for the fleet that is approaching in a mere matter of hours. The Watcher activates his machine and sends out a warning, but the prince's defenses are still defeated. The Changeling retrieves his Flier, and makes good on his threat to the prince. The Watcher encounters the blinded prince on his way out of Roum and leads him to another city.
