Neuware - State of the Union Addresses by Millard Fillmore is a collection of speeches delivered by the 13th President of the United States to Congress during his tenure in office. The book includes all four of Fillmore's State of the Union addresses, which were given between 1850 and 1852. In these speeches, Fillmore discusses a range of topics, including foreign relations, territorial expansion, and the issue of slavery. He also addresses the economic and social challenges facing the country at the time, such as the need for infrastructure improvements and the impact of immigration on American society.Throughout the book, readers can gain insight into Fillmore's political beliefs and his vision for the future of the United States. The speeches provide a fascinating glimpse into the political climate of the mid-19th century and the challenges faced by the nation during this period of rapid change and growth.Overall, State of the Union Addresses by Millard Fillmore is a valuable resource for anyone interested in American history or political science. It offers a unique perspective on the issues and events that shaped the United States during a pivotal moment in its history. The brief space which has elapsed since the close of your last session has been marked by no extraordinary political event. The quadrennial election of Chief Magistrate has passed off with less than the usual excitement. However individuals and parties may have been disappointed in the result, it is, nevertheless, a subject of national congratulation that the choice has been effected by the independent suffrages of a free people, undisturbed by those influences which in other countries have too often affected the purity of popular elections. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
