Paperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book examines the historical debate regarding the nature of Christ within the Christian trinity. The author contends that the traditional view of Christ as a lesser God to the Father is not supported by scripture and argues that the terms "God" and "Lord" when used singularly often refer to the three persons of the trinity: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The author further argues that the unity of God as expressed in scripture is a unity of agency rather than a unity of personhood. The author supports this position by providing a detailed examination of key biblical passages and by arguing that the traditional view of Christ's deity leads to contradictions within scripture. This book is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the historical development of Christian theology and the nature of the Christian God. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…
