Centering on a disease of the tibia that follows fever, the author takes a critical look at his peers' diagnoses, specifically questioning whether the disease should be considered a type of necrosis. The author argues that the disease is distinct from necrosis in both its characteristics and treatment, supporting his claims with historical precedents and a series of case studies. The book concludes with a call for further research into the condition, emphasizing that precise diagnoses and correct treatment for this disease are essential to ensure positive patient outcomes.
