Among the papers are: Operation order No 11.The diary opens at Grantham on 24 April 1916. 1916 is spent at Arras, Fauquessart, Festubert, Agnez and Farbus. 1917 at Foufflin Ricametz, Vermand, Rodieres, Licourt and Villeveque. 1918 at Poelcappelle, Westroosbeke Sector, Road Camp and Klober Farm. It closes at Westroosbeke Sector on 30 January 1918. Arras is where it spent longest, 109 days across four separate stays, including a single unbroken stay of 31.Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Klober Farm.In 1916 it is also recorded at Fouthampin, Le Harve, Lestrum, Zelobes and Sus St Ledger.
