The author provides a thorough overview of existing pedigree systems and explains why the herein described system is vastly superior when it comes to maintaining the pedigrees of these animals. This text introduces a system of marking the animals that eliminates the need for descriptions of individual color markings, potentially a very time-consuming process. The author further introduces a two-form pedigree record system, one form for individual descriptions, and the other for mating records. The author provides explanations and examples for each form. The book concludes with a useful index system to aid in tracking each animal's genealogy.
