This book explores the intricate relationship between the Wesleyan Methodist Church and its baptized children and youth, delving into scriptural and historical foundations. The author, an experienced minister within the Wesleyan Church, challenges the prevailing practices and doctrines regarding membership and exclusion, arguing for a more scriptural and inclusive approach that acknowledges the rights and privileges of baptized children. The book examines the Wesleyan Church's departure from the principles of its founder, John Wesley, who emphasized the importance of individual discipleship and spiritual growth over adherence to external rules. The author presents a compelling case for recognizing the church membership of baptized children, ensuring their spiritual nurture and guidance, and fostering a deeper understanding of their place within the Christian community. This book is a valuable resource for scholars, church leaders, and members seeking a more comprehensive and biblical understanding of church membership and the role of children within the Wesleyan tradition.
