Garcia is a mission theologian, lecturer, pastor and author, born in Araguari, Minas Gerais, Brazil. He is a graduate from the Northern Presbyterian Seminary, Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil (B.Th.'82) and from Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, California (Th.M.'87; Ph.D.'01). He and his wife, Neiva (also born and raised in Brazil), have lived in North America since 1984, serving the Lord as missionaries among several ethnic groups both in Canada and in the United States. Ehud is an ordained minister in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. As the founder of Diaspora Intercultural Academy, he has also ministered in Brazil, Mozambique, and Russia.
