Its analysis ranges from marking evidentiality to indicating perspectives. The volume combines papers with various theoretical approaches and methodologies, notably, formally oriented linguistics and data-driven accounts. The multiplicity of subjects and methods may resonate beyond the field of Romance linguistics.
