Taschenbuch. Condizione: Neu. This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Objective: The objective is to develop and validate simple, accurate, sensitive and rapid , HPTLC method for simultaneous estimation of Glucosamine (GLU) and beta-Boswellic acids (BAs) in their combined tablet dosage form. Experime…ntal Work: In HPTLC method, chromatographic separation was carried out on TLC plate pre-coated with silica gel 60F254 using mobile phase-A,Toluene-Ethylacetate (2.5:1.5 v/v) for 11-KBA and A-11-KBA,scanning the plate at 260 nm [scan-1] and mobile phase-B, 1-Butanol -Water-Glacial acetic acid (3:1:1, v/v/v) for GLU ,derivatized the plate by Ninhydrin reagent and scanning the plate at 485 nm[scan-2]. Results: The HPTLC method was found to be linear over the range of 6250-31250 , 300-1500 and 150-750 ng/band for GLU,11-KBA and A-11-KBA , respectively. In this method, % RSD of assay determination of both drugs was found to be less than 2.0 and mean % recoveries were found between 98-101 %. Conclusion: The method was found to be precise as % RSD of assay in all cases was less than 2.0. High percentage recoveries obtained in this method indicate that the method is accurate. There was no interference from any excipients in the determination of drugs in tablets. 88 pp. Englisch.
