Taschenbuch. Condizione: Neu. This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Over the years most university libraries have made available, facilities and instructional aid geared towards satisfying the yearnings of their users in this era of information globalization. This highlights the invaluable importance of Digital Library System (DLS), which provides user satisfaction and improved library services among others, vis-a-vis requisite access infrastructure. When this is not in place, there will be inadequate information at the disposal of students, resulting in low productivity among Nigerian university graduates. Obviously, there are ICT facilities in these libraries. Yet, the extent of their use for service delivery cannot be ascertained, as majority of the library users still leave the library dissatisfied at the nature of service rendered to them. The book argues that, with all the efforts being made towards the implementation of DLS, libraries as Digital Nervous System of their parent organization need to radicalize their strategies in satisfying the needs of their clients. The analysis should be especially useful to university management, library school educators, researchers, library management, library patrons and information professionals. 112 pp. Englisch.
