Novel methods for OFDM channel estimation and ICI reduction are presented in this book. Addressing the channel estimation problem, three new methods are presented. A new method using GCG class of adaptation laws is proposed for adaptive OFDM downlink. A novel method based on Step-Variable LMS (SV-LMS) algorithm is proposed for channel estimation. The third channel estimation method is based on Multi-Scale Singular Value Decomposition (MS-SVD). Considering the issue of mitigating ICI at the receiver, an optimal method is proposed for ICI Self Cancellation. 172 pp. Englisch.
