TheCommonFrameworkInitiative,started in1995andfundedsince1998asCoFIWG,iscenteredaroundthede nitionof theCommonAlgebraicSpeci cationLanguage(CASL). TheprogramstartedwithafulldaytutorialontheCASL,followedby32 presentations,severalofthemontheCASLaswell,organizedinparallelsessions duringthefollowingtwodays.
