But globalization is not responsible for our lack of investment in focused ideas of workforce development to help prepare a new generation of workers that are educated, technologically savvy, good communicators, decision makers and problem solvers, able to compete with their counterparts from around the globe. I encourage my colleagues to take a look at the ideas explored in this study. State officials, policy makers, private sector and all interested stakeholders in this topic can benefit and judge the value of the data that only a qualitative study conducted on-site can best clarify. The only constant in today s educational institutions is constant change with little or no results. CTE deserves a second look. 292 pp. Englisch.
