Dabei entfernt er subtil sämtliche Anspielungen auf einen Ort und Zeitpunkt. Mittels feiner Farbkorrekturen und teilweise extremen Eingriffen in das Kompositionsgefüge kreiert er ein eigenes Bild von Landschaft, die teils real, teils fiktiv erscheint. Die »erfundene« Landschaft kann dabei unglaubhaft wirklich, die »real existente« Landschaft hingegen unwirklich, entrückt oder fantastisch erscheinen.Der Band eröffnet erstmals konzentrierte Einblicke in das Werk des in Düsseldorf lebenden Fotografen.
