The focus of the study is on the identification of spatial concentration and change of employments in the selected thanas of Dhaka district. As well as the study analyzes the distribution and disparity of the facilities affecting the quality of life among the thanas. From the study, it is found that these aspects are not equitably distributed over the thanas. The study also reveals that certain thanas are distinguishable as prosperous in terms of a particular variable while some thanas are less prosperous.
