This is of the fundamental importance to develop tools that allow the designer to obtain the optimized design considering the structural requirements, functional characteristics and restrictions imposed by the production process. In this work, taking into considerations the above limitations the dynamic behavior of beams and plate manufactured from fiber reinforced composite materials are considered. Modal analysis is carried out with the help of commercial finite element code ANSYS to determine the influence of fiber orientation as well as the stacking sequence on the natural frequencies and maximum central deflection in case of uniform loading over the plate. The behavior of laminated composite plate under pressure loading was studied by using ANSYS . The effect of fiber orientation, number of plies, and stiffness ratio on the displacement of symmetric and anti symmetric laminated composite plates subjected to uniform pressure loads are studied in this work. 68 pp. Englisch.
