Since 2007, Kathryn Cook travelled between Turkey and Armenia and on to Syria, Lebanon and Israel unearthing the shameful truth whilst giving a voice to its survivors and legacy. The resulting collection of images emphasise the emotional tonality of the story rather than documenting specific events, and ensure this overlooked genocide finally finds a voice and some sense of closure. In her photo series Kathryn Cook explores the aftermath of the "denied" 1915 Armenian genocide in Ottoman Turkey.
