SAS is an analogous method to X-ray andneutron diffraction, wide angle X-ray scattering as well as to staticlight scattering. In separation to the other X-ray and neutronscattering methods, SAS yields information on the sizes and shapes ofboth crystalline and non-crystalline particles.
