A simplified model and calculation method were presented for performance prediction of counter-flow CWCTs. Based on the proposed cooling capacity model with new input parameters, the outlet temperatures of the process water were compared with the measurements. Furthermore, the cooling capacity and cooling tower effectiveness of both towers were investigated and compared, respectively, under given operating conditions.…
