Different kind of fading like weibull, rayleigh, rician & nakagami have been applied to Gaussian Approximated WCDMA system to generate faded transmitted signal and BER is calculated accordingly at the output of conventional receiver. Performance comparison b/w perfect power control based rake receiver and conventional receiver is also done under the severer effect of rayleigh fading.
