The experimental sites were Tajpur village under Lakshmansree union, Sunamganj sadar upazila and Rahimapur village of the Beheli union, Jamalgonj upazila, Sunamganj. Two varieties (BRRI dhan29 and BRRI dhan58) and six MoP fertilizer packages. The experiment was laid out in a randomized complete block design with three farmers¿ replications. The plant height and tillers hill-1 varied significantly at different growth stages in relation to variety, fertilizer and their interaction. The higher tillers hill-1 (14.20) and effective tillers hill-1 (12.48) were produced by BRRI dhan58 at harvest. Panicle length was longer in BRRI dhan58 (24.12 cm) compared to BRRI dhan29. Grains panicle-1 (139.14), 1000-grain weight (23.24 g), grain yield (9.06 t ha-1) and straw yield (11.92 t ha-1) were produced higher by the BRRI dhan58 compared to BRRI dhan29. The highest 1000-grain weight (23.85 g), grain yield (8.65 t ha-1) and straw yield (11.78 t ha-1) were obtained in the treatment of 127 kg MoP ha-1. 88 pp. Englisch.
