The system can be configured in several languages and according to the needs of each institution. Given this, th…e objective was to review the bibliography and customize the Chamilo VLE to suit the Federal Institute of Education and Technology of Tocantins (IFTO), in order to adapt it to its needs and provide users of distance learning with an alternative system that has good usability. The customization included changes involving the replacement of the logo; platform colors; insertion of videos, links, and news; and reduction of languages, leaving only Portuguese, English, and Spanish. User registrations with different profiles, course categories, courses, and assessments were also created. After customization, field research was conducted with questionnaires to learn about AVAs and people's opinions regarding distance learning, and tests were carried out to test the usability of Chamilo. After customization, Chamilo was evaluated as having good usability. This item is printed on demand.
