The objective of this study is to perform Theoretical calculation and numerical analysis for the static strength of simple leaf springs designed for small vehicles. The objective is to compare the stresses and percentage weight saving of composite leaf spring with that of conventional leaf spring. To achieve this objective, stress and displacements under static loading were analytically calculated. A computer-aided design model of a leaf spring was created. 60 pp. Englisch.
