In case of structure without infilled walls, this masonry structure acts as an extra mass and does not show any significant effects. In a braced frame building, the resistance to horizontal forces is provided by vertical and horizontal bracing. Main aim of this thesis is to Study on the effect of infill material on the behaviour of structure. In this study it is concluded that infill walls are lateral load resisting members and variation in forces, moment and deflection arises due to openings in infill walls. For analysis and designing analysis tool Staad.pro is considered. 52 pp. Englisch.
