The results suggest that: 1) the success motive correlates positively with the accommodation, commitment, avoidance and integration strategies; 2) the affiliation motive correlates negatively with the imposition strategy and positively with the accommodation, commitment, avoidance and integration strategies; 3) the power motive correlates positively with the imposition strategy and negatively with the accommodation and avoidance strategy.The discussion of the results obtained with this research intends to contribute to understanding the relationship between conflict and motivation in the particular hospitality context and to point out human resource management measures that help to deal with conflict and employees' motivation. 116 pp. Englisch.
