Based on a comparative study of countries with similar economic and geographical situations to Brazil, the aim of this book is to address some points of the utmost importance in the search for alternatives to the problems encountered on Brazil's federal highways. In view of this proposal, studies and research were carried out on the current state of the Brazilian road structure, learning more about the types of roads, demonstrating the advantages and disadvantages of the road modal and pointing out the disparity between roads granted to the private sector and stretches managed by the Brazilian government, as well as providing a quantitative and qualitative comparison of the road modal of countries such as Russia, India and China, members of the BRICS. From this, the survey of the main products traded between this economic group and the recent growth in exports and imports within the BRIC was related, pointing to an evolution in trade between these countries.…
