The converter was supported by a solar cell that charges the battery. The converter was modeled and developed in Proteus software. Based on the typical converter circuit, the real converter was designed and tested. In addition, the efficiency and performance between software and hardware were tested and compared. The efficiency of the software was 80.7% and the efficiency of the hardware was 70.3%, while the performance of the charger controller was different between software and hardware, knowing that this converter is designed to carry 60 watts.
