Die Daten wurden durch halbstrukturierte Interviews mit Fachleuten aus dem F&S-Bereich von Unternehmen in Vale do Paraíba/SP und durch Fragebögen, die an junge Gymnasiasten aus dem öffentlichen Schulsystem in der Stadt Taubaté/SP verteilt wurden, erhoben. Die Analysen folgten einer qualitativen Methodik für die Interviews und einer quantitativen Methodik für die Ergebnisse der Fragebögen. Es wurde festgestellt, dass die Erwartungen der Anwerber mit den Aussagen der Jugendlichen übereinstimmen und durch die Literatur bestätigt werden.
