The evidence was that too many of the CSCS practices were not familiar to the majority of the respondents (82) and thus, practices of Climate Smart are at a very low level of adoption in such areas. The GWA area council was the highest CSC awareness of 34% followed by AMAC area council of 8% CSC awareness and 12% CSC awareness in kwali. Recommendations on these findings are to intensify the efforts like sensitization exercises, training and support programs on CSA as a way of making farmers embrace climate smart agricultural practices as one.
