The main objective of this research is to design and analysis planar antennas in microstrip technology using commercially available electromagnetic field solvers and to design an array of the UWB antenna for Breast Cancer Detection using microwave imaging process. The specific objectives of this research can be listed as follows: i) To design and fabricate three UWB antennas using HFSS and CST software. ii) To compare the performance of the three antennas for selecting best one for microwave imaging. iii) To design an antenna array for microwave breast cancer detection application.
