Studies conducted as part of the petrographic, mineralogical, and geochemical investigation of the Seguela kimberlites have produced a hand-drawn geological map of the area. Thus, this study aims to produce a remote-sensing map of the geological formations and diamond potential of northern Seguela using Landsat-7 ETM+ images, SRTM images, and field data. To this end, several remote-sensing investigation methods were employed. The satellite and field data were processed and imported into a GIS. The methodological approach consisted of performing, on the one hand, a principal component analysis, a texture analysis, spatial filtering, and color composites.
