This book highlights the main problems of farmers of Kinnaur District which has an area of 6401 sq. km with a population of 71,270 persons. The author has tried to study at primary level the problems and constraints of the farmers as a large proportion of tribal population here is dependent upon agriculture and allied activities as a source of their livelihood. It was found that the farmers of Kinnaur District are not much concerned about the input-output ratio in the farming system. This book, therefore, gives some good suggestions to the farmers of this area, so that their socio-economic conditions can be improved.
