It records the different events in the development of cinema in India since 1895. The interesting narration records the various stages starting from silent movies to the post modern of cinema later. The book borrows extensively from the books published earlier by people who have had rich experience in the evolution of Telugu film industry. But most part of the narration is the result of material collected from primary sources. Unpublished material, events recorded in daily papers and periodicals besides journals on cinema are examined in depth. The book discusses in detail the roll of various types of technicians who assisted with film industry including their organisations.
