Bl.a. skrev han adskillige artikler til årbogen 'Fra Himm…erland' og 'Kjær Herred'. Hvad han ikke vidste om Østhimmerland var ikke værd at vide, og når han skrev noget, så var det i orden.Derfor er 'Forvalteren på Lindenborg' heller ikke kun en roman. Det er historie serveret på en indbydende måde. Det fremgår vist også af følgende anmeldelse fra 1931: Emnet er hentet fra Lindenborgs righoldige arkiv og holder sig nær til de historiske fakta. Bogens hovedperson er Johan Anton Grabhorn, som var godsforvalter på Lindenborg 1769-71 under den berømte skatmester baron Heinrich Carl von Schimmelmann. Man får et levende billede af den tids tanker og levesæt i Østhimmerland.(Henrik Møller i Fra Himmerland og Kjær Herred 1931).
