This book is an attempt to record some of important changes of health and nutrition being taken place among children, adolescents and mothers. There would also be glimpses of fertility and mortality. The book is divided into 13 chapters. The chapters are derived from the research papers presented in an International Conference entitled Indigenous People, Human Security and Sustainable Development: Emerging Challenges in the Present Global Context held at Kolkata during 19-21 Jan 2018 organized by Commission of Human Rights, International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences (IUAES) and Department of Anthropology, West Bengal State University, Barasat Kolkata 700 126.
