Paperback. Condizione: new. Paperback. "Whispers from the Back Row" is the latest manifestation of The 2 Cents Movement's commitment to youth development through the Literary Arts. School students from across Trinidad under the mentorship of 2CM's Future Authors Program and its teaching artists came together to understand how to form the lives they live into words, and how to do so unapologetically. In the end, each line, stanza, and even act, became filled with the hopes, fears, struggles, and questions they were once scared to whisper, now could be said for the world to hear. These students proudly invite you to have a seat in their classroom, sit back, pull out your textbooks, and wait quietly for sir to arrive. An endearing anthology of poems written by students of The 2 Cents Movement's Future Authors Programme 2026, this collection frames the experiences of youth through childhood experiences, adolescent development, and school life in a cozy West Indian setting, offering warm, authentic, and multilayered perspectives which are deeply impactful to readers.
