Paperback. Condizione: new. Paperback. Jaxon Xavier's return to New Orleans doesn't go quite as planned. Not that he actually had a plan, truth be told. He did have a job to do, that much was clear. It was supposed to be easy, just following someone for a friend, and reporting back to them at the end of the day. It seemed a simple enough gig.Of course, he also had a few ghosts to tangle with, primarily re-connecting with Maxy, his former co-worker and almost-something-more, whom he hadn't been in contact with for years. Ever since he'd left New Orleans, in fact.In the course of his task, tailing one Madeline Chastain and reporting her whereabouts to his friend, Biggs, would he finally find what he'd been looking for in New Orleans those years ago? Would Maxy be a part of it?As the once simple job devolves into more intrigue than Jaxon had expected, the answers to these questions only become more complicated. This item is printed on demand.
