Tough times can cause us to doubt ourselves as we become crippled by fear of judgement. This can become so bad it even becomes a fear of self-judgement, so we hide ourselves within ourselves. Traumatic secrets poison the mind. For me, poetry is a beautiful tool of expression, a conduit to take us from the unseen to the edges of our perception. My insatiable thirst for learning about the poetic craft has led me to develop a potent toolkit of rhythm and rhyme mixed with high impact alliteration and imagery. This collection represents a journey through my own expression, recognizing the potential value within my own voice.
