To honor the man's dying request, Doc decides to return home to London, meeting up with a group of youths along the way, who he invites to return with him where he will tell world the truth. On their journey, Doc begins to understand that his transition, the loathsome monster he he feared he would become, was actually evolution expedited. Throughout the journey, this crisis of conscious plagues him; the juxtaposing reality of Man's insane domineering cruelty and the "monster he is becoming" against his strong moral convictions.
