Paperback. Condizione: new. Paperback. Returning to Blues Meadow after completing her first year of medical school, Tahlia Martin ends up causing a brutal multi-car collision only blocks from home. Sustaining the worst of the injuries, she's rushed to the local hospital. The next three and a half weeks pass with her in a comatose state as her body slowly recovers, and she finds herself plagued by confusing "dreams", strange and cryptic conversations, and conflicting memories. Upon awakening, she finds her best friend at her side waiting for her return, only she doesn't come back altogether whole.Within hours of regaining consciousness, Tahlia finds she's missing the last two and a half years of her life, during which time, the people she loved the most are either gone or so drastically changed to the point she can't reconcile them with the people she remembers.Nicca, her best friend, who she hoped could be something more, seems to be holding on to secrets as well as pulling away from her in a way he's never done before. Her twin sister is no longer the vivacious, takes-crap-from-no-one powerhouse she recalls; instead, Kaliana appears to be a shell of her former self with secrets of her own. And what is up with the guy claiming to be her boyfriend and refusing to leave her side? All she can recall is one date with Gage in which she wanted to drown him in his soup from the get-go, not exactly a foundation for a healthy and/or lasting relationship! So why is everyone acting as though all of this is normal? What could have possibly happened in the time she's missing to make any of this okay? Refusing to accept the alternate reality she seems to have awoken in, Tahlia struggles to fill in the blanks despite the resistance she finds from everyone in her life. What secrets are so important that everyone would insist on clinging to them rather than help her regain her lost time? Don't they realize how hard she's willing to fight in order to finally have the life that she dreamt of before her past was so cruelly snatched away? Welcome to the 2nd Edition of Forgotten. I hope you enjoy the updates as much I do. While writing this series I have learned so much more about the characters (main and side) than when writing the first version of this story. The heart of it remains the same, but character motivations are much clearer now, as are the ties to the rest of the series. Please check out Tahlia's new and improved journey.**Author's Note*** Forgotten can be read first in the series, but may contain a few spoieors in the eppilogue This item is printed on demand.
