Every year, at the Summer Solstice, they are terrorized by the Vacterians. A large blue dominant people, who sweep in on their airships and hunt the Chosen. Ten Namoo youth are selected by the lottery. They must hide in the Forest, and the Vacterian warriors will hunt them down. The first to score a kill is the winner. The Namoo despises this ritual hey call The Culling, but it keeps the Vacterians from wiping the Namoo out. The times are seeing new changes.
