This was clearly issu…ed in 1861 as there is a note on page 65 indicating that Kansas had been granted statehood (January 29, 1861), but with no mention of the secession of states at the beginning of the Civil War (South Carolina seceded on December 20, 1860). Published by D. Appleton and Company, 443 & 445 Broadway.
