The author conducted a drilling program in Lee and Ogle Counties, collecting samples and data from a total of eight drill holes across those counties. This information could facilitate the search for new, shallow sources of groundwater. The author also ran seismic surveys and conducted a pumping test to further evaluate their findings. The book provides the collected data and presents the authorâs interpretations of how it relates to the character, thickness, and depth of glacial deposits in the region.
