Aggiungi al carrelloNo Binding. Condizione: Very Good. Circa 1950 (see below). Sheet size: 185cm by 152cm approx. Extremely large single sheet map of England and Wales with part of Scotland up to Edinburgh and Glasgow, mounted in sections on linen. No holes or tears to map face but pin holes to margin corners. A little marking, mainly in the marine regions. Full colour for England and Wales. 'A' and 'B' roads beginning to dominate although still also referred to as 1st and 2nd class. Railways still very much in evidence with most lines appearing active. Ferry routes/crossings marked. Mileage chart to upper right. Scale 6 miles to 1 inch. Dating: branch lines like, e.g. Roxburgh Junction to Jedburgh, still present; pre-war closure line for Charwood Forest, not present. A combination of road emphasis with railway proliferation would suggest a post-war production of late 40's early 50's. Taking into account updates would be not annual, a date estimate of 1950 seems valid. Print code: L.MC. Further details available on request. (n644.25K).…
