Zu den behandelten Themen zählen etwa Silbergeschirr, Textilien, goldene Porträts, Goldgläser, die Innenausstattung von Villen und Kirchen, aber auch die Wirkung von Gold und Silber auf die Welt außerhalb der römischen Grenzen.
