Contents extremely clean and sound throughout. A little rubbed at extremities, but a firm set. Bound in full green art nouveau pictorial cloth, designed by Talwin Morris (1865-1911) in the 'Glasgow Style' typified by Charles Rennie Mackintosh (1868-1928). Morris worked for the publishers Blackie in Glasgow from 1893 as Art Director, and later produced a series of outstanding geometrical influenced bindings for Greshams (a Blackie subsidiary).
